Inclusive Practise
Inclusivity is about recognising everyone is different and understanding that in meeting individuals and allowing individuals means a happier and productive outcome for everyone. It is deconstructing traditional systems that reinforce stifling practises and cultures that exclude members of our society and instead recreating and developing innovative, inspiring and affective ways of working.
I consult individuals and organisations on: recognising and identifying barriers, prioritisation, recognising bias and the benefits of inclusive practise.
Some examples of areas for consideration:
• Social model of Disability • Coproduction • Engagement & Exposure • Remuneration and values • Access Audits / What are the barriers? • Recruitment processes • Planning • Refocussing priorities and being creative • Legalities and responsibility
